Application Starts for MHADA Lottery 2017 in July

Much awaited housing scheme named as MHADA Lottery 2017 is expected to be advertised in starting of July this year to invite applications for allotment of 880 houses in Mumbai. Authority has decided to build houses at various locations including: Charkop, Vikhroli, Goregaon, Mulund & Tunga-Powai. 




Due to high demand & lack of land in Mumbai, most of Mumbaikars are dependent on MHADA Lottery to buy houses. To provide benfits of this houisng scheme to every section of the society, authority considers to keep few housing units reserved for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates.

Lottery draw for MHADA Lottery 2017 will be conducted in month of August 2017 to allot houses to successful applicants.

Mumbai government has introduced various housing schemes, now Mahakamgar Awas Yojana has been introduced to provide affordable dwelling unit for construction workers working in Maharashtra. Beneficiaries can avail benefits of  PM Awas Yojana & easy home loan facility under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme. Government proposed around 2.5 lakh houses to be constructed in Mumbai, which are located at various locations. This initiative would work for the welfare of Maharashtra Construction Worker by providing affordable houses.
